Challenges
- Heritage context: The home was more than 70 years old and located in historic Berry, so the upgrade needed to look appropriate rather than out of place.
- Finish sensitivity: Shale Grey Matt needed careful handling to keep the roof surface free from dirt, debris and visible site damage.
- Technical complexity: The project included custom skylights, steep pitch, exposed timber rafters, rafter brackets and multiple roof angle changes.

5. Complete detailed roof plumbing and finishing
Integrated sheeting, flashings, gutters and insulation so the finished roof looked deliberate and complete.
